The Bamboo Bean is a small, hairy annual vine which bears yellow flowers and small edible beans. It is a minor food and fodder crop and occasionally a weed. Seed color is variable, but commonly brown & red. Bamboo bean is most often served as a split, either soaked overnight and boiled with a few whole, or cooked in a pressure cooker.
